Inspired by Michelangelo’s original floor plan for the new Basilica of St. Peter, San Pietro translates one of Rome’s most powerful architectural icons into a sculptural mirror. Ancient in its design and contemporary in its interpretation, the piece draws directly from the blueprint — the moment where geometry, proportion, and intention first converge.

The historic plan is rendered through a precise intarsia of green marble and smoked mirror, meticulously cut to replicate the exact geometry of the original drawing. Both delicate and monumental, the composition transforms architectural language into material presence.
