Continuing the Pleat series, these bedside cabinets further explore the inherent discrepancies incurred in the steam bending and hand twisting process.

The imperfection of the pattern created, with it’s almost leather like appearance, aims to invite interaction from the audience and offers the opportunity to quantify and explore the hand made process. Continuing to ask the question ‘what makes an object valuable’.
