Finage Credenza

The Finage credenza is designed and finished in the Morgan Clayhall Toronto studio.

Based on the French term for finishing. The artist uses the technique of finger painting to achieve the artwork on the doors. The technique consists of spreading the masses of paint with seeping movements and incorporating words in the paint, only using his hands and fingers.

This technique results in a real bond between the artwork and the artist and allows for some intricate blending not achievable with brushes. The artwork has movement in the layers of paint and creates a contained excitement within the perimeter of the doors of the cabinet.
