Cubus Spiralis

An exercise in Torque and Restraint Cubus Spiralis unfolds from the logic of a cube, stretched and twisted into a rising spiral of pure surface. Its reflective skin turns architecture into motion, light into structure, the viewer into a passing distortion. Edges dissolve into curvature, and mass gives way to momentum—yet the work remains grounded in precise geometry, tethered to an invisible axis. There is no ideal viewpoint, no final image to resolve; Each step around the sculpture reconfigures it anew. In polished steel, its form becomes a mirror that refuses to sit still. Part sculpture, part apparition. Cubus Spiralis is less an object than a consequence, the trace of force applied to form, and form learning to endure it.
