Burnout Armchair - Limited Edition of 6

A material portrait of exhaustion. The seat is recycled glass, crushed and fused in a custom mould, its semi-translucent body holding dark inclusions like scars beneath the surface. The charred maple frame captures the moment before collapse, the illusion that you can keep pushing without consequence. Glass and wood meet through four precision joints, so the seat appears to float free of its structure. Brutalist in form, and at once collapsing and enduring.

First presented at Design Miami in December 2025. The first of a limited edition of six was acquired on debut by a US collector and is now held in the archive of The Corning Museum of Glass.
