Side Eye Armoire

The armoire is designed and finished by hand in the Morgan Clayhall Toronto studio.

The studio created the Side Eye Armoire using an image from a renaissance portrait. The image is then manipulated digitally and mounted to the doors.

The artist, Murray Duncan, then applies his signature graffiti artwork to the top layer.

The tension between the old school landscape and the modern graffiti brings an element of modernity to the cabinet. The client can supply the words that can be incorporated into the final artwork. The doors are then sealed with a durable gloss resin.
