Peter Hermansson (b. 1975) is a distinguished artist based in Nybro, Sweden, whose work breathes new life into the traditional Swedish narrative glassmaking tradition.

With a unique background in graffiti, Hermansson infuses a graphically expressive style into his glasswork, aiming to revitalize and reimagine Swedish art glass for contemporary audiences. His journey in glass art began with his studies at Orrefors National Glass School, followed by a rigorous 4-year apprenticeship, where he honed and mastered his craft.

Over the past 15 years, Hermansson has dedicated himself to perfecting two intricate Swedish glass techniques, Graal and Ariel. These methods allow him to seamlessly integrate illustrations into the glass, creating intricate, story-driven pieces that are both visually striking and narratively rich. Storytelling lies at the heart of Hermansson's artistry, and his advanced craftsmanship brings these stories to life through the medium of glass.

Hermansson made his debut in 2009 with the critically acclaimed exhibition "DARK TIMES" at the Glassery gallery in Stockholm. Since then, he has participated in approximately 70 exhibitions across Sweden, Scandinavia, and internationally, showcasing his work in countries including France, the USA, England, Holland, China, and Turkey. 

His work continues to captivate audiences globally, making him a prominent figure in the world of contemporary glass art.
