Katz Studio
Isaac Katz is the founder and creative vision behind Katz Studio, a practice situated at the confluence of art and design. His work is not an act of decoration but of revelation, an attempt to unearth what already exists, translating the fluidity of narrative and animation into the permanence of sculptural form.
Katz holds a BA in Animation and Digital Arts from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California, training that continues to inform the narrative depth of his sculptural practice. Through Katz Studio, he transforms conventional materials (suspended, grounded, mirrored, matte) into bespoke furniture and sculpture that defy easy categorization, each piece a bridge between the tangible and the transcendent.
His work has been exhibited at Design Miami, Kips Bay Showhouse, and the Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Art Fair, with a solo exhibition at Zona Maco Diseño affirming his place in the international design conversation. For three years, Katz was represented by Todd Merrill Studio in New York's SoHo district, before choosing to engage his audience directly through showrooms in Mexico City and Los Cabos.
Isaac Katz's practice is a study in stillness and movement, memory and light, each work conceived not to impress but to remind: that beauty is not imagined but remembered, and every creation is simply a way back.
