Jonathan Ausseresse’s journey with glass began in his father’s workshop, where he
was mesmerized by the transformative art of blending metallic oxides, enamels, and glass frits.

Immersed in this experimental world, Jonathan knew he wanted to dedicate his life to this extraordinary material. His passion led him to study applied arts, earning a CAP in glass decoration and a DMA in architectural and crystal glass design at the École Nationale du Verre, where his technical skills flourished, culminating in the prestigious title of MAF glass decorator in 2013.

As his expertise grew, so did his artistic ambition. Jonathan began creating personal collections, blending enamelling, thermoforming, and volcanic rock to form glass sculptures that explore depth and texture.

"With vertical slats, I build volumes through accumulation, conjuring luminous atmospheres that shift with perspective and distance. Horizontal fusions, on the other hand, challenge me to explore balance, balancing thickness, dispersing colours, and embracing the subtle interplay of transparency," he explains.

His ‘Fluence’ collection has cemented his place on the international stage,
showcasing a bold, layered aesthetic that merges light, form, and emotion.
Continuously refining his techniques, Jonathan strives to push the boundaries of glasswork, creating pieces that resonate with both artistry and innovation.
