Winter Light Clear Filigrane

This Iconic piece is freehand and mouth blown. It is decorated using the ancestral Venetian technique, filigrane. Glassblowers draw linear, white and opaque glass threads.

They are applied hot around a transparent glass bubble. The transparent sphere, adorned with filigrane, is blown and then shaped by hand using palettes.

These circular and successive gestures give the Winter Light its own organic and flattened shape.
