Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia founded Scarlet Splendour in 2014. The siblings grew up in Kolkata, India with a deep sense of appreciation for the aesthetic. They combined their mutual passion for design to form Scarlet Splendour, with a view to integrate their maximalist sensibilities and become, possibly, the first design editors in India. 

Scarlet Splendour collaborates with the finest international designers. Together creating a wide range of luxury furniture collections that go beyond ordinary imagination and design limitations to become works of art in their own right.

Their trailblazing furniture, lighting, and rugs are classical yet modern, whimsical and serious, and functionally sculptural. The synergy with international galleries, press agencies, artists and designers has transformed the studio and taken local craftsmanship to a globally renowned level. 

Scarlet Splendour heralds a blend of cultures and transcends geographical boundaries to achieve the extraordinary in the design world.

They combine the exquisite artistry of Indian craftsmanship with immaculate, international designs to evoke decadence and timelessness. Since their debut collections were launched at Milan Design Week in 2015, the portfolio evolved to encompass an inspirational range of works from renowned designers from across Europe and the U.S.A.
