Mathisse Dalstein
Where Craftsmanship Meets Creativity
Mathisse Dalstein, a talented French designer, was born in the picturesque town of Dijon in 1992. His journey into the world of design began with his graduation in crafts, specializing in the Art of Habitat with a focus on cabinetmaking in 2015. This pivotal moment marked the inception of his creative journey.
In pursuit of his passion, Mathisse founded "Ad Hoc Créations Mathisse Dalstein," embarking on his path as an independent designer. His artistic pursuits led him to the enchanting shores of Papeete, Tahiti, where he collaborated with an interior design firm, exploring the theme of "Made in Tahiti" during a creative phase.
Upon his return in 2016, Mathisse established "Mathisse Dalstein," his eponymous company dedicated to nurturing his creative endeavours. An active participant in various associations and collaborative workshops, such as Silba, the Crozets workshop, and the Savoir-Faire workshop, he constantly seeks new avenues for inspiration.
In 2017, Mathisse embarked on a meaningful collaboration with the Emmaüs association, giving rise to the "Emmaus UP" workshop. This initiative gained support from the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) in 2018, further solidifying Mathisse's commitment to his creative projects.
